Freshmen Retreat

In our close-knit high school, the Freshmen Retreat holds a special place as it warmly welcomes our freshmen to the high school fold. This unique experience is all about creating a tight bond within our school community. Through shared activities, heartfelt discussions, and collaborative problem-solving, our newest high school students connect not only with their peers but also with our faculty. 

This year's retreat was held today at the Georgia Tech Leadership Challenge Course. The MIS Freshmen rose to every challenge- each one designed to encourage cooperation, perseverance through frustration and team building- from an invisible maze, a ropes course (some while blindfolded!), all the way to the zip line down.
