MIS Spirit Day Brings Our Lynx Pride to Life!

MIS was bursting with energy and community pride as we celebrated Spirit Day! From the moment students arrived on campus, our school mascot, Leonard the Lynx, welcomed everyone to start the day with extra MIS spirit. The hallways were filled with music, setting the tone for a joyful, high-energy celebration from the very start.

Many faculty and students showed off their school pride in style, sporting MIS t-shirts, necklaces, and Lynx gear throughout the day. The festivities officially kicked off with a photo session with Leonard, where students lined up for pictures, shared hugs and high-fives, and with some showing off their best dance moves alongside our mascot.

During morning Let Grow play time, students enjoyed fun and games at a variety of activity stations, including Connect 4, bean toss, and Twister. Creativity was also in full swing as students made MIS bracelets to celebrate school pride and added a little extra fun with MIS tattoos.

To add to the excitement, students were entered into a raffle for a swag bag filled with MIS goodies, giving everyone something to look forward to at the end of the day when winners were announced.

One of the most meaningful parts of Spirit Day was the school-wide shoutouts announced throughout the day, celebrating our faculty, staff, and students. These moments of recognition highlighted the heart of our community and reminded us that MIS spirit is about how we show up for one another.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day unforgettable—and to Leonard the Lynx for bringing the extra roar of school pride!
