MIS Hosts Its Inaugural Puzzle-A-Thon

Midtown International School was buzzing with excitement on November 15! The school hosted its very first Puzzle-A-Thon—and it was truly a puzzle palooza! Fifteen teams of four representing all MIS divisions, along with friends of MIS, gathered for an afternoon of friendly competition, collaboration, and fun. Each team raced against the clock to complete a 300-piece puzzle in hopes of securing a top three finish.

Teams were made up of MIS families, faculty, staff, groups of friends, and friends of MIS. With pizza and drinks fueling the fun, puzzling enthusiasts focused intently on every piece as they worked together toward the finish line. The relaxed yet focused energy in the room was high as teams encouraged one another and celebrated every completed puzzle.

We are thrilled to recognize our inaugural winners:
1st Place – The Green Family
2nd Place – The Rezaie Family
3rd Place – Talia Auslin, Katie Rinderle, and Gabby Lamothe

Each winning team went home with a trophy. The 1st place winners also took home a designer puzzle and will have their names imprinted on a school plaque.

More than just a competition, the Puzzle-A-Thon captured the heart of MIS—community, collaboration, and connection. We are grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this first event such a success. Everyone came out as a winner! We can’t wait to grow this tradition in the years ahead!
