Midtown International Parents (MIP)

Midtown International Parents (MIP) exists to build community among our families and faculty, sustaining and strengthening the networks of learning and support that MIS provides our children. We plan and support school-wide events and activities, encourage relationship building among families within grades, help facilitate communication, and encourage us all to show our appreciation for the exceptional care our faculty provide our learners.

All MIS parents are automatically members of MIP.  We are made up of our parent board, class-parents, and volunteers. We welcome and encourage everyone to join in our activities and events. Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month from 9:00-10:00 a.m., both in person and through Zoom.

Activities include:

  • Planning and supporting school-wide events & activities

  • Relationship building among families

  • Facilitating communications
