Welcome to MIS
It’s wonderful to have you with us!
We’ve gathered some key details to ensure your first days at MIS are easy and stress-free.
In mid-July, you’ll receive additional information from the school principal and leadership team about the start of the school year.
Summer Work
New 11th and 12th graders should receive an email from our principal and/or HS english teacher with details.
All other students should remember to enjoy a good book or two or three!
School Traditions
Our mascot is Leonard the Lynx. Learn why MIS founders chose the lynx as our mascot.
Our logo includes an orbit representing a continuous path of unlimited learning and growth.

Our first meeting will be held on Aug 19th at 8:45 AM!
There are many ways to support MIS as it works with your schedule. Whether chaperoning a trip, being a class parent, contributing food to a faculty appreciation luncheon, or chairing an event committee. Email mip@misatl.org to share your interest!
